About Us

As employment laws become more complex and the battle for talent intensifies, employers have come to realize that they need help resolving disagreements in their workplaces and staying current in adapting evolving employment and labor laws to their companies. Working Resolutions is focused on settling employment disputes via arbitration and mediation services, and implementing legally compliant human resources policies and procedures for its clients.

Alice Winkler, founder and President of the company, has developed an expertise in employment law and labor relations, as well as in alternative dispute resolution. She worked as an in-house Labor and Employment attorney for 10 years and has been trained as an employment/labor arbitrator and mediator. Additionally, she has consulted with companies ranging from large Fortune 500 corporations to small mom and pop shops, addressing their growing need for human resources guidance as employment laws become more complex.

Ms. Winkler has lectured and written extensively on topics and trends relevant to human resources and employment law. She received her B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts and her J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law in New York City. Ms. Winkler is admitted to practice law in New York as well as in Massachusetts, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society of Human Resource Managers. In her spare time, she has coached graduates of the Coalition for the Homeless’ First Step job training program as they progress through their job training internships and seek full time employment.
